I have published a book and several articles on my research on twentieth-century Italy. My book (based on my PhD research) ‘Piero Gobetti’s Turin: Modernity, myth and memory‘ was published in 2011 by Peter Lang, in their Italian Modernities series. I have also published several articles based on my more recent research on the social and cultural history on post-war Italy, in Transnational Subjects (available here), Journal of Modern Italian Studies (available here) and Cultural and Social History (available here). I have also reviewed books for Modern Italy, Italian Studies and Annali d’Italianistica, as well as writing several review articles for the Dublin Review of Books on modern Italian history.
I have also blogged about my work as well as my thoughts on history, academia, books, and other things. I wrote and co-edited a blog The Little Review from 2010-2011 and have contributed to other blogs including Irish history blog Pue’s Occurrences, the Notches: Remarks on the History of Sexuality blog and the History of Emotions blog.
